I wanted to thank you for allowing me to preview your ComputerCOP P3 software. I have an extensive computer background, including being an adjunct professor in the computer science department of our community college, so I feel that I really put your software to the test. Here is the analysis of my testing.

First, I found that P3 is excellent for doing field-testing of an offender’s computer. Your software allows me to view images or text on an offender’s computer in less than ¼ the time I was spending with another brand of software. That is incredible!

While this product does not do a full forensic exam, it does search header information, ram and file slack, zip and encrypted files. I did an exam this morning on an offender that is a computer programmer. He has three computers in his residence  that are networked. I had him log on since he has network administration capabilities. It recovered and displayed encrypted images! The offender was stunned. It also provides a mechanism to save any files that I may need for evidence. I have used P3 on computers with Windows 95/98, ME and XP. It performed flawlessly!

I am currently the only probation officer in the State of  Florida authorized to do computer searches. It is my desire that other officers be given the software and training to do searches. Your software is so simple to operate that an officer does not need the extensive computer background that I have.

Since your software is extremely fast, simple to operate, has extensive search capabilities and reasonably priced, I have recommended to our state department head that we purchase enough copies of your software to equip at least one officer in each circuit of our state. She has agreed with my recommendation and seeking approval for the purchase.
