ComputerCOP Deluxe examines a computer's disk drives, looking for images and text files containing potentially inappropriate words or phrases. Based on the suggestions from the over 200,000 registered users of the original ComputerCOP product, the new product makes use of features found in Computer Cop Law Enforcement versions of ComputerCOP, Professional and Forensic Edition. The new features speed the review process after ComputerCOP has performed its extensive search. Additionally, ComputerCOP now searches disk space not currently used by the computer system, but which may have been used to temporarily store chat and e-mail text.

In order to further monitor chat and e-mail sessions, ComputerCOP Deluxe, at the ComputerCOP users request, installs a keystroke-monitoring tool that is totally invisible to the computers users. At the time that keystroke-monitoring tool is installed the user is given the opportunity to introduce family member names, their address and phone number. In addition to catching objectionable words, and allowing the parent to review them within contexts, the keystroke-monitoring tool will also pickup the typing of names & other personnel information and present that text, within context, for review. This feature will scan all chat and e-mail messages typed on the computer allowing the ComputerCOP Deluxe user, at a latter date, to review messages that contain what maybe considered objectionable words or phrases as well as personal information.
