How Forensic Examiner Works: Install FE on your desktop computer or laptop.

Remove the IDE hard drive from the suspect's computer. Connect the proper cables (power and IDE cable) from the suspect's hard drive to the write blocker. Connect the write blocker to your laptop or desktop via the included Firewire or USB cable. Power on the write blocker and your computer.

Run FE from your desktop or laptop. Select the suspect's drive and choose your search. Run your search.
