It takes One Tough Cop to develop software like this. Richard "Bo" Dietl is America's One Tough Cop. His autobiography One Tough Cop: The Bo Dietl Story, which has been made into a major motion picture, details Mr. Dietl's 16 years in the New York Police City Department where he made more than 1,500 arrests and became one of the most highly decorated detectives in the history of that department. He received 80 awards and commendations for bravery alone. After retiring from the police department. Mr. Dietl went on to become a highly respected security expert and investigator in the private sector in both national and international arenas. Currently, Mr. Dietl is Chairman and CEO of Beau Dietl Associates (BDA), an investigative firm that he founded. The firm boasts a client list that includes Columbia Pictures, Coca-Cola, Grey Advertising , PaineWebber, Lehman Brothers, Bankers Trust and the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia. Mr. Dietl was appointed by then President of the United States, George Bush, as Co-Chairman of the National Crime Commission in 1989, and chosen as Security Consultant to the National Republican Party Convention in 1992 and 1996. He is now serving his second term as chairman of the New York State Security Advisory Committee, a position New York Governor George Pataki appointed him to. While Mr. Dietl sees the Internet as a fantastic avenue for the sharing of ideas and information, he also has great concern for its inherent threat to corporate and personal security. His concern for children, who may constitute the largest group of Internet users, prompted him to develop Computer Cop.
